2012–13 Denver Nuggets season

The 2012–13 Denver Nuggets season was the 46th season of the franchise, and its 37th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA). They finished the regular season with 57 wins and 25 loses, the franchise's best record since joining the NBA in 1977. Despite winning Coach of the Year, head coach George Karl was let go after the season. Midway through the season, storm clouds gathered around the team as Danilo Gallinari suffered a season-ending knee injury in a game against Dallas and forced him to sit out all of next year. Without Gallinari for the playoffs, the Nuggets ended the season with a first round defeat to the Golden State Warriors in six games.
